Swan, Saab Automobile And Pang Da Respond To Media Reports

I wish the media actually cared about getting facts in order rather than sensational headlines.  Thankfully, Saab has provided a press release on October 12, 2011

Trollhättan, Sweden: Swedish Automobile N.V. (Swan) and Pang Da Automobile Trade Co., Ltd (Pang Da) have taken notice of media reports questioning the validity of the partnership agreements between Swan, Saab Automobile AB (Saab Automobile) and Pang Da after Saab Automobile entered into voluntary reorganization. Swan, Saab Automobile and Pang Da underline that these reports are based on a misunderstanding.”

While the press release is factual, it is far more calm than I am about misleading reports in the media.  I will never accept that bad news is worth spreading when a company is working to rebuild and reorganize, while so many employees stand by the company, doing their jobs and with their livelihoods at stake.  Give Saab and the employees a chance to see this reorganization through to fruition.
