Saab 9-5 SportCombi Crash Test Video

Swade of Inside Saab has posted an interesting bit of information and video of a recent crash test of the all new Saab 9-5 SportCombi.

I’ll share the video from youtube directly below but suggest as always you read Swade’s coverage here.

I’d like to quote from Swade as well for those who may not know…

  • “There’s nothing at Saab that’s treated more seriously than the safety of our customers. It’s one of our core values and part of the Swedish philosophy that’s incorporated into every car that we design and build.”

While no vehicle can be “perfect” in every situation (accident), Saabs are known for performing well under the terrible circumstances when involved in a road accident.

In our 24 years experience driving Saabs,  we’ve found that Saabs help drivers avoid accidents by providing fast and predictable reaction capabilities to drivers.

I find myself avoiding accidents on the road nearly every time I drive one of our Saabs (there are a fair number of cars on the roads where we live and lots of inattentive drivers around us).

That aspect of driving in congested areas is not fun (near death experiences), but avoiding accidents is ALWAYS a good thing if you manage to avoid them!

As usual I will remind readers:

Visit Saab.com to learn more about current Saab models, special offers from Saab or to locate your nearest (U.S.) Saab dealer.

Saab dealers are offering unbeatable prices and values, and special financing options so there has never been a better time to purchase a new Saab.

…and remember:  People who test drive a Saab usually buy a Saab.
