From a recent post on SaabsUnited, credited to Johan O.

Saab has recently completed replacement of a U.S. based maintenance system at the Trollhattan production plant with a Swedish designed system from a company named Aretics.

The new system is reported to manage 36,000 +/- connections at the factory, and was completed in a record three months! “The system is expected to handle around 90,000 scheduled maintenance tasks in 2011 and has already proven reliable handling around 200 tasks per day”.

Wow!

Also in the same report from SaabsUnited, some excitement for Saab Rally fans – Saab in Belgium will be entering two classic Saabs in 12 Heures de Huy, which I assume is a 12 hour rally of sorts. SU has some a pictures with the more detailed post, same link as at the top of this post.

Good luck to everyone participating!
