2011 SAAB 9-5 Debut at Geneva Auto Show

All New 2011 SAAB 9-5

The all new 2011 SAAB 9-5 made it’s debut at the Geneva Auto Show yesterday, March 1, 2010.

This is an important event as it marks a publicly visible return to the auto show circuit by Saab since being purchased by Spyker from General Motors.

Saab History has a nice copy of the press release information on the new SAAB 9-5 here.

Have a look at some of the other vehicles in Saabs concept car lineup here.  We hope to see them or other new designs in showrooms in the future. The all new 9-4X is expected to be available late in 2010 or 2011.

Also featured at the Geneva Auto Show is a replica of the SAAB 93 which brought acclaim to Saab as a competent rally car in the 1960’s. The replica shown in the article will be accompanied by a second replica, both of which are to be driven by Mr. Victor Muller and Mr. Jan Åke Jonsson in the coming Mille Miglia.
